ঝিনাইদহের শৈলকুপা উপজেলার বড় মৌকুড়ি গ্রামের খাল থেকে এক যুবকের গলা কাটা লাশ উদ্ধার করেছে পুলিশ। আজ সকালে তার লাশ উদ্ধার করা হয়। তার পরিচয় জানাতে পারেনি পুলিশ।
শৈলকুপা থানার ওসি আয়ূবুর রহমান খান জানান, শৈলকুপা উপজেলার বড় মৌকুড়ি গ্রামের মাঠে খালের মধ্যে এক ব্যক্তির লাশ পড়ে থাকতে দেখে এলাকাবাসী পুলিশকে খবর দেয়। খবর পেয়ে পুলিশ ঘটনাস্থলে গিয়ে লাশ উদ্ধার করে। নিহত যুবকের বয়স প্রায় ৩০ বছর। তাকে গলা কেটে ও এলোপাতাড়ি কুপিয়ে হত্যা করা হয়েছে। লাশের পরিচয় পাওয়া যায়নি। কারা কেন এ হত্যাকান্ড ঘটিয়েছে তা তদন্ত শেষে জানা যাবে বলেও তিনি জানান। লাশ ময়না তদন্তের জন্য ঝিনাইদহ সদর হাসপাতাল মর্গে পাঠানো হয়েছে।
